Can I come alone?
Absolutely – please check our availability in regards to shared charters. This allows you to get the very best value while still being able to enjoy some of the most incredible fishing found anywhere in the world.
Can I book the whole boat?
You certainly can book the entire boat for your family, friends, corporate group, or even if you just fancy the whole thing to yourself. Please get in contact with us if you have specific requirements.
Are there preferred locations?
Each trip is unique. Weather and water conditions vary on a day-to-day basis, which means that we calculate each route individually and customise each trip to provide the very best experience for our passengers.

Where do you depart from?
We depart from the Port Douglas Boat Ramp. It’s easy to find, but if you’re having trouble just let us know and we’ll be able to direct you.
It’s on the opposite end of the public carpark from Saint Mary’s Church, right beside the Tin Shed.
What time do you depart?
½ Day Charters hours are 8am-Noon and 12:30-4:30.
Full day Private Offshore Sport-Fishing takes place on the outer reef and, generally speaking, unless under specific conditions, we will aim for a 7 a.m. departure to get a full day’s fishing in.
What about insects?
Usually, given the locations we choose and the conditions, insects are generally not a problem. If, however, on the off-chance they become an issue for you, we are well stocked with insect repellent, which we are more than happy to provide to keep you comfortable.
What should I bring?
We would say that necessities include a well-covering hat, sunglasses, and some appropriate strength sunscreen.
Whatever else you decide you want to bring is up to you!
We will provide ice, cold water, and soft drinks throughout the day. If you have any special drinks and nibbles you want to enjoy, please bring them along to make the most of your day.
Are night charters available?
They certainly are – night fishing is fantastic fun! We cater our service to you, so if you have any particular requirements, please contact us and we’ll be glad to discuss arranging something to suit your needs.
Do I need fishing experience?
Not at all! All you need is the desire to learn. Even if you’ve never picked up a rod before, our friendly team will have you casting like a professional in absolutely no time at all.
How do I pay?
We can take full payment via phone/email for all charters. Please note that all coastal/offshore trips are subject to weather conditions and passenger/employee safety absolutely must come first at all times.
Can I cancel?
There is a strict 48-hour cancellation policy for private and shared charters.
